My interest in complementary therapies is traced back 10 years ago to my stumbling on an introductory massage weekend and getting absolutely hooked!
I am still passionate about massage and now have the qualifications and experience to match my enthusiasm. I have worked mostly in a voluntary capacity in the past, with a wide variety of different people and am now making the transition from 9-5 office worker to portfolio career person.
My path in massage is definitely my true vocation in life. In the future, I hope to keep expanding my kills repertoire in complementary therapies and most of all learn a lot from my clients - my greatest teachers.
My approach to massage is very intuitvie and holistic, ensuring that clients receive the type of massage they nedd and I don't believe that 'one size fits all'. My voluntary experience has, I feel, enabled me to develop both empathy and flexiblity when working with my clients. I also endeavour to uphold high standards of professionalism in my work.
Above all, I am endlessly curious about people and constantly amazed at the body's capacity to heal and regenerate itself in a stressful world. It is this quality that makes me stand out from the crowd.
