I was born in Birmingham, England in 1963 of Caribbean parents. From a young age I was sporty, physically active and in good health.
Interest in Complementary Medicine has been a part of me since my teenage years. A close relative introduced me to using shiatsu pressure points on the neck for headache relief. Years later, I performed amateur massage on my mother for her aches and pains. This progressed into realising an appreciation for pleasant aromas and fragrance. This, in turn, led me to become an aromatherapist and massage therapist which is part of my overall interest in natural medicine and well-being.
In future, I hope to gain an upper second class degree in Aromatherapy and go on to develop a thriving practice with customers from the general public, businesses and statutory sector. As my reputation develops, I hope to earn recognition for contributions to peoples’ wellness and health and earn a good income.
Carrying out research later on is desirable, contributing to the increasing body of knowledge.
